Dear Families,

Welcome to Valley Springs Elementary School for 2011-2012 school year! We are excited to have you and your child as a member of our school community, and are eager to celebrate successes as we embark on a new school year.

The staff at Valley Springs Elementary is prepared to provide your child with the best education possible. Our school's mission is clear: in partnership with students and their parents/guardians, we seek to provide a quality education, in a safe and supportive learning environment, where your child can grow as an individual academically, socially, and emotionally to become a productive member of society.

Your role in this mission is critical, and I highly encourage you to become involved in your child's education, through classroom volunteering, involvement with our PTO, and/or through communication and contact with your child's teacher and support staff.

Please keep the lines of communication open as much as possible, so we can address issues directly and in a timely manner. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact either your child's teacher, or myself directly.
