Our Library is filled with over 8,000 books. (That's a lot of books for a school with only 130 students!)

Every year our students have a penny drive to raise money for books. Last year they raised over $2,500.00.February is penny month at Mokelumne Hill School.

Each grade has a designated day to come to check out  books and the library is open at recess and until it is closed, after school. We have a great resource in our library.

Mrs. Hoffman works to keep our library going.  We are very proud of our school library, which features more than 8,000 books.  We try very hard to keep current, interesting and fun books for our children.  

Our school offers the Accelerated Reader Program, with over 2,600 quizzes available.  The children like this program and even come in at recess or before school to take their quizzes!

Our Library  is dedicated to Florence Peek, who was a Principal at our school years ago.
