As the new principal of Mokelumne Hill Elementary, I look around me and celebrate the many positive aspects
of this wonderful school. 

·        I celebrate the students.  They jump feet first into the joys of living.  Their joy is contagious.  They strive for success whether it be in baby steps or giant steps.

·        I celebrate the staff.  Their dedication is unsurpassed.  They labor unceasingly for the multifaceted well-being of the students.   Love cannot always be measured, yet the students flourish due to this intangible reality of their educational experience.

·        I celebrate the parents and guardians.  They entrust their children to our care, yet the partnership between home and school creates the true link to success as the students experience a unity of purpose.

·        I celebrate the wider community of Moke Hill.  Mokelumne Hill Elementary is rich in traditions.  Community members stay involved and interested in the education of its future contributing citizens.

How lucky I am to be surrounded by this intricate web of support.  My purpose as principal is not to do a job, but to join this school family and support its ongoing positive energy which shapes each student one child at a time.  I celebrate Mokelumne Hill Elementary!
